On 22 October 2026, the second workshop within the programme “Cybersecurity and Resilience – An Interdisciplinary Approach to Prevention, Investigation and Response to Contemporary Cyber Threats” took place at the Civil Society Resource Centre (Граѓански ресурсен центар) in Skopje.
The workshop focused on cyber incident reporting and response, including the classification of cyber incidents, reporting procedures, and institutional and operational response mechanisms.
The workshop was particularly engaging, featuring a table-top exercise on a coordinated cyber attack. All participants were actively involved in the exercise, working through the scenario, discussing possible responses, and exchanging perspectives based on their professional experience.
The multidisciplinary composition of the group – bringing together representatives of state institutions, civil society organisations, academia and other professional sectors – once again contributed to a dynamic and highly interactive discussion.
This programme is conducted by the Association for Research and Analysis LEGATUS – Bitola, within the Joint Programme on Good Governance in Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans, funded by the United Kingdom (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) and the Federal Republic of Germany (Auswärtiges Amt), and implemented by DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance.
Many thanks to all participants for their active engagement and contribution.
We look forward to the next workshop!
