MISSION
Association “LEGATUS” is a collaborative initiative driven by a group of dedicated researchers and scientists, united by a common goal of advancing research, analysis, and educational endeavors. As a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan organization, we are committed to making meaningful contributions to the fields of good governance and criminal justice system enhancement.
Our overarching mission is to champion the principles of good governance and elevate the standards of the criminal justice system. We firmly believe in the pivotal role of these principles in safeguarding human rights within our society. To realize this mission, we are dedicated to the implementation and sharing of best practices, fostering education, conducting impactful research, and building robust networks.

With an illustrious collective background, our team at Association “LEGATUS” proudly holds Ph.Ds in the fields of security and information and computer sciences. This unique blend of expertise positions us exceptionally well to achieve the ambitious goals of our association, particularly in influencing diverse domains such as security, cyberspace, privacy, human rights, and information management.
Drawing from our extensive academic experiences, most of us actively participate in and contribute to the educational system, specifically within the academy. Our dedication to knowledge transfer and nurturing the intellectual growth of younger generations serves as a guiding principle for our endeavors. It is our fervent belief that by imparting our wealth of experience and insights, we contribute to the development and empowerment of emerging scholars and professionals in these critical fields.
Our commitment to education extends beyond traditional boundaries, embracing innovative approaches and methodologies that align with the dynamic landscape of security and information sciences. Through our collective expertise, we aim to not only advance academic discourse but also bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Each member of our association brings a wealth of experience in conducting extensive research and analysis within the specified areas, complemented by substantial academic expertise gained through roles as lecturers and trainers.
Moreover, our collective resume includes active participation in diverse projects, underscoring our commitment to making meaningful contributions at both national and international levels. Notably, our team members have been actively involved in projects conducted under the auspices of esteemed organizations such as NATO SPS Programme, UNODC, OSCE, Council of Europe, DCAF, US Embassy, and, in addition to this, our President is Fullbright and Chevening scholar. Additionally, several of our members proudly hold alumni status from prestigious institutions such as the Council of Europe World Forum for Democracy, College of Europe WEASA, DCAF Young Faces and the Manfred Worner Seminar.
Furthermore, our members have earned prestigious national and international awards in recognition of their outstanding contributions and groundbreaking research in the field of security. These accolades underscore our commitment to excellence and serve as a testament to the impact of our collective efforts on advancing knowledge and fostering positive change in the realm of security studies.
