On November 28, 2024, Ambassador Drexler visited Bitola. There, she met with students from the Faculty of Law at the UKLO “Kliment Ohridski” University, who participated with great interest in a very dynamic discussion with her on topics such as European politics, rule of law, human rights, women’s rights, and more. Afterwards, the Ambassador participated in a certificate awarding ceremony organized by NGO Legatus from Bitola for women who successfully completed a digital skills course. The Embassy had previously supported NGO Legatus in acquiring the necessary IT equipment to conduct computer and digital media courses for Roma women. The project’s goal was to strengthen and support equality for women and marginalized groups and enhance their professional opportunities. It was funded by the Small Projects Fund of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. Congratulations were extended to NGO Legatus – Bitola for their excellent work, with wishes for numerous further successful training sessions. Special thanks were given to the “Gjorgji Sugarev” elementary school in Bitola, which hosted the event.
